Looks like We’re Getting a Larger Pixel Watch 3 Model

Just recently, leaked product renders showing the design of the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 were shared online, giving us a look – as well as a sense of familiarity – with Google’s still-unannounced smart wearable. With that in mind, it looks like Google will be launching a larger watch variant this year, based on newer leaks online.

READ: Don’t expect any design changes to the Pixel Watch 3

Aptly named the Pixel Watch 3 XL, the photos show a design that’s essentially the same as the base model Pixel Watch 3, albeit with a larger 1.45-inch touch display, and larger watch bands as well. The Xl model retains the glass dome design, as well as the rotating crown and action button on the side. It is expected to be larger overall, with dimensions measuring 45mm x 45mm x 13.89mm. Other than the physical design however, no other details have been leaked so far.

While the leaked renders are still officially “unconfirmed,” it looks like Google has decided to adopt Apple and Samsung’s strategy of releasing iterative design changes to succeeding wearable devices, as seen on the Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch models.

In other Pixel Watch news, Google has finally started rolling out the June 2024 feature drop for its smart wearables, which now come with features like car crash detection and bike fall detection. The smartwatch will also support PayPal Wallet moving forward.
