Google has released a new update that allows you to save passkeys to Google Password Manager on desktop devices, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Passkeys, feature previously only available on android devices, saves you the stress of having to input password everytime you sign-in to websites, apps or Google account.
You can simply sign in to these platforms using your fingerprint, face, or screen lock, once you activate passkeys feature. And it is safe.

Passkeys eliminate the need to remember complex combinations of letters, numbers, and symbols.
You can log into accounts using fingerprint or facial recognition technology.
They work seamlessly across various operating systems and browsers, applicable to both websites and apps.
Passkeys are robust enough to be virtually impossible to guess or reuse, offering strong protection against hacking attempts.
Each passkey is tied specifically to the app or website it was created for, preventing you from being misled into signing into fraudulent platforms.
Google Password Manager makes passkeys accessible across all Android applications.
