Motorola just refreshed its Moto G Stylus 5G

One of the things that Motorola has been doing extremely well in the recent years is putting out great value for money smartphones. The company’s Moto G series of smartphones typically offer excellent value for what you’re paying for, like the Moto G Stylus 5G. Now it looks like Motorola is back with a new and updated model for 2024.

There are obviously some changes under the hood, but there are also changes externally. For starters, Motorola has bumped up the display size of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024). Instead of a 6.6-inch display, it has been bumped up to 6.7-inches. It features a 2400×1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Motorola has also opted to give the phone a vegan leather back. Glass and plastic has been the trend these past few years, so it’s nice to see Motorola bring back the use of (vegan) leather. As for the specs under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. This is a little disappointing. It will get the job done but it is questionable for a phone launching in 2024.

It also comes with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a double camera setup consisting of a 50MP main and a 13MP ultrawide, with a 32MP front-facing shooter. The good news is that Motorola has upgraded the phone’s charging speeds from 20W to 30W. The battery remains the same at 5,000W. If you’re interested in the new Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), it is priced starting at $400. It will also be available on the 30th of May.
